'Avatar 2' is playing in crores at the box office, 'Circus' is not even a moment ahead of 'Drishyam 2'

Agency: The year 2022 has passed and the movies that were released last year are still running at the box office. 'Circus', 'Avatar 2' and 'Drishyam 2' are currently fighting each other and the collections of all three are quite different. Meanwhile, the 'circus' is in a bad state.

At the end of the year 2022, very unique results have been seen at the box office. Once again this is a Hollywood film, which has emerged in a brilliant way. Is 'Avatar: The Way of Water' emerging as a blockbuster? New Bollywood release 'Circus' has flopped in its opening week while holdover release 'Drishyam 2' is ending the year with the third highest grosser for a Hindi film in 2022. Overall, all the three films are performing at the box office in different ways.

'Avatar 2' Box Office Collection

First we are talking about James Cameron's sci-fi fantasy action drama 'Avatar 2'. In the second weekend, the film has earned a bang. Now this is the kind of number that most Bollywood giants have failed to score in their lifetime in 2022 and here comes a Bollywood film that is doing the same in its second week. The film is making the most of the holiday season and is currently a huge grosser. In no time it will cross new records. So far the film has earned worldwide.

'Circus' Box Office Collection

Meanwhile, 'Circus' has unfortunately been sidelined and is performing very poorly. The film has earned only 20.85 crores so far. Granted the kind of entertainment the film brought with it was not to everyone's liking but it certainly didn't deserve the kind it got. The film's promos were least excited and it's clear that the audience didn't share the same sentiment. Yes, the film is a flop, though it will be interesting to see how the same set of audience reacts when it comes to OTT and satellite.

It has reached the mark of 230 crores at the beginning of the new year. The Ajay Devgn starrer has done a lot to please Bollywood and is set to release as the next big film in four weeks from now. Meanwhile, people have expectations from 'Pathan'.
