Kathmandu. Pradeep Shahi's war drama '1915: Legend of Gorkhaz' will be available on Amazon Prime Video on the 19th of Baisakh. This film, which was originally screened in Nepal as 'Gorkha: Beneath the Bravery' in August, is going to have its OTT debut after changing its name.
The film will be distributed by SNR, an American distribution business. He stated that the film is currently being readied for release in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. The story is based on Kulveer Thapa, the first British Gurkha soldier to receive the Victoria Cross.
The film is based on the British army's invasion on Luce, France, on September 25, 1915. Kulveer Thapa, a 26-year-old rifleman, was injured but survived the battle. He then sought to save the victim. The British Queen awarded him the Victoria Cross in recognition of his contribution.
Sameer Gurung, Gaumaya Gurung, Stuart Walker, Agistone Oberhofer, Oli Bassi, Robin Friberg, Rajan Gurung, Surya Gurung, Seon Shahi, and others star in the film, which was written by Shahi. Vinod Subedi Khatri is the film's executive producer, alongside Madhu Gurung and Prayas Gurung. Pradeep Shahi's second film, 'Antim Sanskar,' is getting ready for release.
