Honors and awards to musicians and journalists in Natikaji's memory

Kathmandu. Various musicians and journalists who have made outstanding contributions in the field of music have been awarded the Natikaji Distinguished Honors and Awards for the year 2077 BS. President Bidyadevi Bhandari has conferred the Natikaji National Distinguished Merit Award, 2077 BS on Nupur Banerjee Bhattacharya.

He presented awards and honors to artists, social workers and journalists at a program organized by Natikaji Smriti Samaj at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas yesterday (Monday).

Natikaji National Special Music Award in various genres, 2077 Narayandas Karki Dhali, Pradip Upadhyay, Umesh Pandey, SP Koirala, Kunti Moktan, Rajkumar Shrestha, BB Thapa, Shahdev Dhungana, Prabhu Dhakal, Shila Pant, Sitaram Pokhrel, Gyanendra Gadal, Haribhakta Budhathoki And Sheetal Kadambini. Natikaji National Music Award, 2077 has been given to Arun Tiwari, Santosh Shrestha, Nisha Deshar and Shiva Pariyar.

Natikaji National Talent Award, 2077 has been received by DP Dahal, Arjun Pokhrel, Sindhu Malla and Ajar Jangam. Alice Karki has won the Natikaji National Music Composition and Instrumental Award. Vijay Ratna Tuladhar and Diwakar Mainali have received the Natikaji National Art Journalism Award. Natikaji National Classical Music Award, 2077 Amrithira Tuladhar Yogi and Natikaji National Folk Music Award Krishna Kandel.

On the occasion, President Bhandari mentioned that Natikaji's creation is a heritage. He says that nation, nationality and patriotism are imbued in his creation. He said that it was the duty of all of us to protect and promote Nepali originality. He said, "Smriti Samaj has encouraged new talents by respecting artists."

Chairman of the society Shambhujit Banskota mentioned that Natikaji was involved in music creation from his childhood till the end of his life. Award-winning personality SP Koirala mentioned that the award has made him more responsible.
