Kathmandu. Tokyo, the Japanese capital, will host the premiere of the eagerly anticipated Nepali film series "Mahajatra", starring Harivansha Acharya, on March 23, Chaitra 10.
On that day, Nakano Zero Hall will host a screening of the social-comedy drama, which is being sitributed by Sachin Acharya. This movie will be released in Nepal on March 22.
For the film's release, he worked with Anvi and Piro Entertainment.
'Jatra' is on its third series, which debuted in 2073. This series also includes Harivansa. In this movie, Harivansha portrayed the part of Khalpatra. Top roles are also held by Bipin Kakri, and Ravindra Jha.
Sachin is hopeful that history will repeat itself this time around because the two previous films in this series have done well at the box office in Japan. As of late, one of the main overseas markets for Nepali films has been Japan.
The Nepali Mission in Japan states that as of June 2023, there were 156,333 Nepalis living there. The FIlm Development Board is reportedly getting ready to name a "Film Representative" in Japan shortly.
