This entire controversy started when Kangana appeared on Karan's chat show Koffee With Karan to promote her film 'Rangoon'. During the show, Kangana called Karan the film mafia. She also accused him of spreading nepotism.
After this, another war started on social media. It was also seen that both of them accused each other several times. Recently, during the release of the film 'Rocky Aar Raniki Prem Kahani', Kangana also accused Karan of buying the box office. After this, Kangana also asked Karan to retire.
The actress also accused Karan of being responsible for the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Kangana's upcoming film 'Emergency' is all set to release on November 24, 2024. Along with Kangana, Bhumika Chawla, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhary, Shreyash Talpade, and others are in top roles in the film. The story of this film is based on the emergency period imposed during the government of Indira Gandhi in 1983.
