Nomination of Mohan Niroula and Rejina Uprety for the President of Film Artists Association

Kathmandu. Mohan Niraula, who is holding the post of vice president, and Rejina Uprety, senior vice president, have registered their candidature for the upcoming elections to be held on 4th of Chait.

In the association, seven people have nominated for the post of vice president. In which Dhan Bahadur Bamjan (DB), Kabita Gelal, Shivahari Nepal, Sarita Giri, Pawan Prasad Khatiwada, Tej Kumari Khatiwada and Bishnu Prasad Rijal have nominated for the post of Vice President.

Similarly, five candidates have been nominated for the post of General Secretary. Sanjay Khatiwada, Dharmanand Acharya, Sabin Shrestha, Panah Adhikari and Uttam KC have nominated for the post of General Secretary. Rameshwar Burlakoti and Jeevan Thapa have been nominated as secretary.

Binod Kumar Bhattarai and Sunil Katuwal have submitted nominations for treasurer, while Rohit Rumba and Pabitra Acharya have submitted their nominations for joint treasurer.

26 people have applied for the post of members, including Uddhav Prasad Bhattarai, Gopal Dhakal, Sanjog Rana, Sheetal KC, Pawan KC, Roshan Shrestha, Punya Prasad Pandey, Laxman Chaulagain, Ranjana Khadka, Sunil Kumar Puri, Namrata Kharel.

Gopilal Tamang, Dilkumar Dong, Pukar Bhattarai, Dinesh Awal, Khinna Bahadur Bhandari, Ramsharan Jangam, Ramkumar Karki, Rajesh Gosain, Sarita Rajopadhyay, Neetu Koirala Gautam, Ishwarballab Upreti, Bhimsen Bajgain, Sameer Lama Tamang, Nirmal Syangtan, Babita Dhakal have nominated for the post of members. are

Some members filed complaints regarding membership renewal, card distribution and financial reports. The investigation committee also wrote a letter for this. After that, the working committee decided that it would not be possible to proceed to the convention without resolving the dispute.
