Kathmandu. Senior actor Krishna Malla, the newly elected president of the 12th general meeting of the Nepal Film Society, has been honored for being re-elected unopposed as the central president of the society.
Senior actor Malla and all the newly elected officers and members were presented by Chairman Madandas Shrestha on behalf of the SS Foundation, Chairman Radheshyam Lekali on behalf of the Literary Journalists Association, Treasurer Khem Upreti on behalf of Upreti Seva Samaj, and representative Hem Pathak on behalf of Wasyal (Raut Foundation (USA)). They were honored with congratulations letters.
Dozens of artists, writers, and journalists were present at the event, which was facilitated by singer and philanthropist Shobhit Upreti.
Producer Mohankrishna Shrestha has been elected as the first vice president, Narayan Pradhan as the second vice president, and Rakesh Khadka as the third vice president.
Similarly, Rajendra Kumar Bisural has been elected as General Secretary, Tanknath Poudel as Secretary, Shankar Lal Shrestha as Treasurer, and Durga Bisural as Co-Treasurer.
Similarly, Sunil Katuwal, Madukumar Shrestha, Gopalkaji Kayastha, Shivahari Bairagi, Sharmila Malla, RP Pant, and Subhash Khadka were unanimously elected as members of the society, respectively.
