Kathmandu. Nepal Network Television (NNTV) has released the best 32 contestants of 'Dohori Idol'. 'Dohori Idol' is Nepal's first multilingual reality show in which the participants will perform in Nepali, Maithili, Pahari, Bhojpuri, Tamang, and Newari languages. In the current context, this is a framework for preserving and promoting Nepal's diverse folk song culture while attracting the young generation towards modern music.
A program was organized in the capital, Kathmandu, and certificates were distributed to the 42 best idols. The certificate distribution program was attended by Shyam Dhital, Managing Director of DAR Movies, folk singer Premraja Mahat, folk singer Laxmi Neupane, folk singer Radhika Hamal, folk singer Chandra Sharma, and many others. Amrit Khati, the coordinator of the program, conducted the program.
For the first time in Nepal, there will be a league-level dual reality show called Dohori Idol'. The winner of the competition between 42 famous artists from Nepal will receive ten lakhs in cash and a car. The runner-up of 'Dohori Idol' will receive cash of three lakhs and a motorbike. Prabhawan J is the director of 'Dohori Idol, made in the format of DAR Movies.
