She said that this film shows violence against women and can affect youth. Look at Kabir Singh. How does he treat his wife, people, and society? However, the film does justice to his work. People have started considering him as a role model. Because we have seen it in the film, we are also seeing such violence in society.' She also criticized the use of the song 'Arjan Bhaili' in the film. The Punjabi war song is played in a scene where Ranbir Kapoor's character is rendered violent.

She said earlier: As far as 'Arjan Bhaili' is concerned, the commander-in-chief of the Sikh forces, Hari Singh Nalwa, who fought against the Mughals and the British, was his son, Arjan Singh Nalwa. He saved many Muslims from Gujranwala in Pakistan before partition. The film has used the historical song in the context of the gang war, and it may hurt religious sentiments.
