Kathmandu. At the Indian box office, the Hindi film 'The Kerala Story' had one of the best openers of 2023. The film grossed 35 crores in three days, according to Indian media. The film grossed Rs 11.22 crore on Saturday and Rs 16 crore on Sunday after opening at Rs 8.03 crore.

There was a 39 percent rise in business on Saturday compared to the first day, and a 42.60 percent increase on Sunday. The growth percentage is expected to rise higher in the following days as a result of positive word of mouth. It is also stated that the current earnings of this film are comparable to the first-day earnings of Salman Khan's 'Kisika Bhai Kisiki Jaan' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar'.

After 'Pathan,' this film's opening is the sixth biggest of the year. In addition, it is expected that this picture would outperform the lifetime collections of major Hollywood blockbusters 'Ant Man and the Wasp' and 'John Wick: Chapter 4' in India. Both of these English films have grossed less than 50 crores in India.

The film's destiny will be determined by its revenues on Monday. "The Kashmir Files" made 3.55 crore rupees on day one and 15.05 crore rupees on day two. This is a 400% increase. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu theaters have opted not to show the film. According to NDTV, multiplexes have opted not to play the film because it may sour communal relations.
