Vidhan Karki led by Nepal Music Video Directors Society

Kathmandu. Nepal Music Video Directors Society, an umbrella organization of music video directors, has got a new working committee. A new working committee led by the founding chairperson Vidhan Karki has been elected unopposed from the first general assembly and convention of the society held in the capital on Friday. Devendra Pandey has been elected unopposed as the first vice president and Nikesh Khadka as the second vice president.

Similarly, Subrata Raj Acharya was elected as General Secretary, Prakash Ghital as Secretary, Vavita Shrestha as Treasurer and DR Sujan (Dilliram Regmi) as Co-Treasurer. Krishnadesh Rupakheti, Surendra Basel, Devendra Kunwar, Janak Bahadur Singh, Laksh Gautam, Dayaram Ghimire, Narendra Bista (Gambhir) and Devraj Acharya have been selected as members.

After the new working committee took the oath of office and secrecy, the first meeting of the working committee nominated the vice chairman and joint secretary. Nishan Ghimire has been nominated as the vice-chairman and Saman Adhikari as the joint secretary. Besides, the working committee of Nepal Music Video Directors Society has 17 members. The term of this working committee will be 2 years.

After being elected unopposed as the president of the society, Vidhan Karki said that the society will not spare any effort to fight for the rights and interests of the directors. He says that the society will move forward according to the new thinking and plan for organizing music videos, addressing the problems of the directors, promotion, development and expansion of music videos.
